Meet Jason Rosado

My name is Jason Rosado, a top business coach who specializes in helping service business owners and entrepreneurs like you achieve fast business growth while improving their personal and professional lives.

Throughout my career, I’ve always held the belief that work should support, uplift, and energize you by using your natural strengths to succeed rather than simply consuming your time and energy. 

My unique client coaching approach combines three areas of experience expertise: 

   18+ years of work as a multi-certified business coach and executive coach

   Decades of leading and developing people, teams and businesses in small business and large corporate organizations

   11+ years of work with clients as a triple-Certified Emotion and Energy Healing Master

That’s why I founded Distinctive Coaching for Business Success in 2006 after coming out of the corporate world and completing my coach training through Coach U. Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of small business owners make more money, build better support systems and teams, and work fewer hours while feeling more satisfied, accomplished, and fulfilled in their work and their personal lives.

As a teenager, I overcame being a shy introvert and gained experience in leadership, service and developing others by teaching music lessons, directing a brass and percussion ensemble, and earning my Eagle Scout Award while managing a local restaurant. This was followed by volunteer and work leadership and sales positions while in college, a successful small business partnership, and roles in corporate training, leadership and business development at Microsoft, Scudder Kemper Investments/Deutsche Bank, and Citizens Conferencing/Premiere Global Services. 

Learning to be comfortable with and “outwardly extroverted” while retaining important listening, empathy and EQ skills for developing public speaking, networking, and sales was another growth experience in getting past my “introvertitis” to help me grow my coaching business, and then teaching and coaching these lessons and systems to my clients to help them grow their businesses.

As an adult, my passion and values for teamwork, continued learning, and creativity are expressed in playing volleyball, my ongoing passion for music, continuing professional education and certifications, and being a Star Trek fan, all of which bring me lessons I carry into coaching my clients. And of course, the best teaching and giving experience of all – being a loving father and husband.

By integrating these specialized areas into our strategies and sessions, my clients attain substantial, measurable, and faster results than what traditional coaching can offer.

One of my most proud moments as a business coach happened a handful of years ago. As the previous year Small Business Superhero Award Winner from my local Chamber of Commerce (Oak Park-River Forest Chamber), I had the incredible privilege of presenting the award at the award ceremony to the following year’s winner, who was a client of mine, as were some of the other award finalists. 

Being there to present that award to my client, and seeing my other clients as finalists just made my heart soar and brings me great joy every time I think about it, reminding me of what I do and why I do it.
